As an avid Gmail user, I have always been an advocate for the many benefits that Google offers to its' consumers. Aside from using Google Drive for my classes, I also use it for work. My Gmail email account is my life, and this holds true for many. I can access my email from any computer or mobile device, while utilizing Google Drive to make my life easier and more productive. Google Drive allows users to access files from anywhere. Changes are automatically saved and are available to see from any device, therefore, there are no worries about losing work. This is vital for version control, especially in a business where there are constant changes occurring. The best part or Google Drive, is that documents can be shared to individuals, or groups of people. It also tells users that last person to edit the file, and what time it was accessed. This function allows companies to track who has made what changes and when.
As a Teacher Assistant, we use Google Drive as a way for students to submit their projects, while also  having access to what their peers have submitted. We have found this to be the most effective and efficient way to share and edit documents with such a large group of students. The capabilities of Google Drive can change the way businesses operate and communicate with their employees, customers, and partners. In addition, there is a lot of room for storage available for free, however, if more room is needed, Google offers more space for a small fee, allowing companies to pay as they grow. It is an easy and fast way to share, communicate and edit documents that can be accessed from anywhere, at anytime. These benefits can only positively impact any business in more ways than one.
